I absolutely adore this look – rustic, weathered, and slightly industrial. Aren’t they gorgeous?

I have this issue of House Beautiful and drool over those pics. They have so inspired me. I had planned on painting my kitchen cabinets white, but am now considering sanding them down to give them a washed wood look instead. Rachel Ashwell has some nice washed wood images too.

Natural wood is my favourite. Adore room 3 (veranda) best. Liking also how the washed wood is offset by the painted wood ceilings. Very clever.

Wonderfull pictures I am a big lover of this wood as well.. I have a huge cupboard in my room of this and a gorgeuslittle garden table with a wooden top.. I am now planning to make a storage space with it. Still designing on it though
