{photos from the farm} this past week

Good morning from a very foggy hill~

Today we are celebrating #3 turning 10.  I don’t know what it is about children getting older, but it still comes as a shock every time they gain a year.  Ten? Really??

This past week was a busy one for us, with the school year wrapping up and summer break patiently waiting to begin.  There is also something running through the house- for me it is allergies but for #3 and Mr. Taylor a cough has plagued them and won’t seem to go away.  Thus, this first week of summer break has been a quiet one.  No matter as we love a good quiet cozy weekend here on the farm!

Random facts~

*Did you know that 5:50 am looks like 9 am?  I can’t believe how light it is outside so early in the morning!

*I like oysters. for years I didn’t- but this week I discovered that I do!

*Seattle has an incredible energy that I feel as soon as I park my car and step on to her streets.

Have a fabulous rest of your weekend mes amies!

My “baby” starts 5th grade in September. I keep having these thoughts of “how did this happen?” While I love watching him turn into a little man, I sure miss my baby boy!

Hope your family feels better soon – We’re fighting some bug this weekend too. School has been out for over a week here, so I don’t know where we picked this up!

Enjoy your Sunday – hope it’s a little dryer than my corner of the PNW!
