on being {inspired}

***

Hello from the sunny countryside of France. As we are still at the manoir I haven’t yet processed all of the amazing moments that have been a part of this incredible journey. All I can say at this point is that I have spent the past four days with some inspiring and supportive women whom I feel blessed to have gotten to know. Someone who saw us yesterday couldn’t believe that we had only known each other for three days. There is an ease that comes with well-worn friendships. We laugh. A lot. And we shoot – morning, noon, and night. When we aren’t shooting we are swimming, eating, or touring various local villages filled with beautiful stone buildings – some hundreds of years old. We wander through narrow stone passages, stopping to make photos of old wood shutters and beautiful doors behind which lie rooms filled with history.

When I return home I hope to find the words to share with you what this week has been for me. I can’t imagine finding a way to thank our incredible hosts who have been gracious and so incredibly accommodating as well as the brilliant Aran Goyoaga for her patience, tutelage, and friendship. However, I shall try~

Until then, I would like to share some images that I have captured during our time here.
A bientôt~
xx
