another {one word} give away

one word necklace

Can you tell I feel strongly about the benefits of finding a word that guides and inspires you through the year?  This year I’m really excited to have ordered a few of these simple necklaces that, with a glance will remind me of the path I {believe} I will journey along in the coming months.  I’m ready to welcome in 2013 and  I know so many amazing exciting things are going to happen this year.

Liz Lamoreux has donated one of these inspiring necklaces   shown above from her Etsy shop.  One of the great things about Liz – aside from the fact that she is creative and talented and incredibly generous- is that she lives a mere hour away from me.  I love finding someone that is relatively local to support as well as be inspired by. When Liz said she would donate a necklace like the one I ordered- with the winners personal one word for the year engraved on it, I was excited that one of you would also wear your word through the year.

You know the drill- leave a comment with your word – winner will be drawn on Sunday~

Best of luck and happy 2013!

  1. “Simplify”
Life is all about choices and choices include prioritizing and getting back to what really matters most. Simplifying is a process and a choice that I am making for 2013. A choice to simplify and get back to the things that really matter. The things which generally are not things at all, but rather relationships that “things” get in the way of.

  2. I don’t have a word this year. I have a letter. ‘H’ It stands for Home:Health:Heart:Husband:Henry All my ‘renewed’ priorities for 2013! Renew was my word for last 2012. It is all related, isn’t it?

    Happy New Year! xoxo

  3. My word this year is “Path.” I really feel that my husband and I have started a great journey and this year I feel our resolutions are really about staying the course and digging deeper into what we have started.

  4. This is lovely. My word for this year is CREATE – to remind myself to not ignore my creative self just because everyday life can sometimes bog me down.

  5. My word is CREATE, I have been putting on hold my creativity for way to long

  7. Hi Kim!

Liz is such a lovely person. I had the privilege of attending her first be present retreat a few years ago. Her light and presence is so refreshing.

My word of the year is strength. I adore this new word necklace.

Much love and happy new year

  8. LOVE this necklace! My word for 2013 is ‘complete’. I have spent time focusing on my work and being creative, while ignoring my physical self. I need to work on my complete self, take care of all my usual stuff (family, home, work) and get healthy this year! Time to get moving, eat clean food, and be complete :)

  9. Such a pretty and simple reminder to wear daily….love it.
my word this year is LIVE. We have had a few personal losses of close and friends and family this past year, and I need the reminder to LIVE each and every day to the fullest! Thank you sweetie….

  10. My word is embrace – Embrace God, love, health, joy, fear, etc. I want to not be controlled by my fears any longer, and just it embrace it all, trust God and live.

  11. i think i would choose purpose, recently i have been thinking of a few but now i realize that what i want more than anything is to have purpose, to know what mine is and to see it clearly.

  12. Happy New Year, Kim!
My word is “breathe” as I find taking the time to slow down and just focus on what I have helps me get through the day. :)

  13. I have decided to do the “one word” for the first time this year. I already know it will be a year of many changes, and I want to be sure I’m making the most of them. My word for the year is “progress.”

  14. Ah…already blogged about this. My one word? HARVEST

I truly sense that the coming year will be one of sweet fruitfulness, a “harvest” of the many seeds sown and prayers prayed.

Grace and Peace to you and yours…

  15. My word: Love

Love embodies everything that I personally need to work on this year. Love is patient and kind. It does not envy or boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-serving, easily angered or record rights and wrongs.

  16. Just stumbled onto your sweet blog… grateful is my word. It was a tough 2012 but I am so grateful for the chance to look forward to a new year and new chances in 2013.

  17. my word for not only this year but one that i have tried to apply for much of my life is “content.”
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content… Philippians 4:11 It is one that eluded me when I was younger but so desire to fully grasp as this year has the possibility to bring innumerable change to our lives!

  18. Firsts——We began the new year with our first grandchild entering this world.—This is just the beginning of new and exciting firsts that we shall have/ do this year.
