I am so happy you are here. I have been working on renovating this site for a while now, and am thrilled to finally be able to share it with you! I hope that you find it easier to navigate and it inspires you to stay for a while to visit old posts that may be of interest. See those tabs under the new banner? Those tabs will lead you to different areas of KTI and Blackberry Farm – whether you want to visit the kitchen, the farm, or go “out and about” with me – locally or internationally!
I plan to make some changes when it comes to the posts that I share with you. I often talk about how much I love France, and the beautiful and rich lifestyle there. My hope is to actively bring that lifestyle here to our little farm, whether it is the way I shop for food and the meals I plan for my family, or the pace at which our family lives our life. I want to inspire you to slow down and value the moments in your own life that, if given the opportunity, can bring so much joy. With that being said, I have invited some of my incredibly inspiring friends to share their thoughts with you on life and the value of those simple moments that I am so appreciative of. Some of those amazing friends actually live in France, and I am hoping that they will be able to shed some light on what it is that makes the French culture so special. I can’t wait to begin sharing that series with you!
My hope is that you will come here to find inspiration, whether it is to plan a wonderful meal, go on an adventure near or far, or find your own joy in the beauty that is your life.

Great effort, Kim. I adapted a lot of the lifestyle I experienced first hand when we lived in Belgium (2 hours north of Paris) for almost 4 years. In a village where French was the operative language, working an a monthly magazine which printed in British English and French; I found myself totally immersed in the culture. Ordinary things I do today can be traced back to that terrific experience.I am in the process of writing a memoir which will chronicle those times. Thanks for bringing the message.<3
