Good morning and happy Friday!
This week has been busy – crazy busy – but in a wonderful “is this really my life” way. I am so excited about the direction that things are going these days, and feel so blessed by it all. Thus, it is time to share the happiness~
Beth Quinn is a friend I met a few years back. She is truly talented and her jewelry is beautiful. It is so feminine, with just the right amount of sparkle and charm. When I heard that her new line was coming out, and she was willing to let me do a give-away, I was thrilled. What a perfect treat to end a week that has been quite lovely~
The necklace that I chose to give-away has, of course, a frenchie feel to it. This really comes as no surprise though, does it? I loved it because I really do “dream in French” – or dream of France, or dream of being in France…
To win this little beauty, all you need to do is visit Beth’s website to check out her newest line, and then come back and leave me a comment as to which piece is your favorite – aside from this necklace, of course. I will pick the winner next Tuesday, August 9th. And please make sure that there is an email address attached to your comment so that I know how to reach you if you win!
Have a fabulous weekend mes amies,
xx

I love ALL the bling earrings, but the black bling are my favorite of all
Thanks for sharing!
I follow Beth on facebook and have already looked around, this necklace would be so perfect because I used to have a t shirt that said the same thing…:)
The beautiful bloom bracelet for sure!!! Thanks for sharing her beautiful pieces with us all.
I LOVE the cream flower ring
thanks for the chance!
“Life is about creating herself”. The necklace is beautiful, however the words carry an incredible depth which add to the magic of the jewelry. We are all creative beings. At the core of our creativity is choosing error over perfection, so we may face our fear of making mistakes and allow ourselves the freedom to create the fabulous person we choose to be. I have just recently been reading the quotes of the great Master Albert Einstein — my favorite: “Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new”. Life is about trying things that are new, and with that we create. The most important and truly unique creation of all for any individual is the creation of oneself. The words are beautiful and this creative piece goes beyond the placement of the flowers and beads, but should be seen as a much deeper whole. Well done. As an added note Kim – I remember our trip to Paris; the chaos, the drama, the beauty and the friendship. All was part of the journey to get to this amazing new joyful and content creation.
So hard to choose a favourite, it’s all so lovely but my daughter fell for the ‘Be wise. Be true. Be you.’ necklace – a wonderful sentiment for the little (and so little) She’s. x
I think I would have to say this one:
http://www.bethquinndesigns.com/item_806/Be-passionate-Be-fearless-Be-strong.htm
because it is a reminder of how I try to live my life and how I want to teach my beautiful little boy to lead his as he grows up
On a purely pretty level though, I have to say her beautiful vintage look crystal drop earrings are BeaUUUUUtiful
“Sse is the key to her happiness…” LOVE THAT! And sooo true
Beth’s work is lovely. Someome is going to be so ecstatic with their win!! Thanks for the chance sweetie XOX
ps – that salted caramel cake is divine!!!!
Love it! We listened to Zaz last night as we headed back up the mountain after spending time in town for my brother’s service. The “so loved” bracelet is very sweet, too. It was great seeing you last weekend!

It would be a tie between the ‘Girls Rule’ and the “Princess’ necklace in the little girl jewelry category–it’s still such a new concept to me that I might actually be getting jewelry for ‘Petite Fille’ someday–after many years in the household of ‘les garcons’…..As for the ‘She dreams in French’–I love it so, but would feel a bit ashamed..as even after 365 French days ‘she’ (aka ‘Moi!’) still most definitely dreams in ‘Anglais’……but I do dream of the day I do dream in French….if that counts at all.
xx! Cat
I love the beautiful “L’amour de la Vie French Necklace”. This is the first time on your site and I love it. Your line about how the direction your life is going in….caught me.
Have a great weekend.

I love the “Dream always”-necklace. If I wore this around my neck it would constantly remind me to follow my dreams. I have so many things I want to put into life, I just need reminders and people telling me to go for it. This necklace would give me the extra “go for it” that I need!!!
Love, Tove (Norway)
pink hair pins…ADORABLE!!!
Kim ~ you realize this necklace belongs around my neck, right? I would most likely NEVER take it off!
And I fell head-over-heels for the little she dream bracelet that would reside nicely upon my crumb’s wrist.
bisous,

My favorite is the “with brave wings she flies” charm necklace and I also love the idea of getting a few charms and making a necklace out of them… i love the charm that just says “breathe” thats my fave.
Oh my-my everything is so lovely! I would love one of her very beautiful custom pieces in her new selection. I love the one that is already sold that is titled “She is Loved Flower Rhinestone Necklace” what a lovely artful piece. Would be a wonderful gift for a mother or someone so dear! Beautiful stuff~
When you first posted this, I literally pored over her website. From my iPhone. That’s how much I enjoyed her talent! It’s not easy waiting for those pics to download on 3G, but oh, so, worth it. If I were to pick one for the ladybug – it would have to be the “be wise, be true, be you” charm necklace. Because it embodies my courageous young lady. But if forced to choose one. It would have to be the charm necklace ‘she makes her own path’ It certainly embodies and sums up my journey!
I love all of Beth’s jewllery-thanks for the introduction to her. My pick for a favorite is “love the moment”. I feel it is where I need to be able to be in my life in the futuure. I have recently developed serious anxiety and it is terrible. I have always been one to live life and am trying to figure my way through this current obstacle.
I feel fortunate to “meet” you. I was watching BCTV news today at home in North Vancouver and saw the banana bread story about your mom, which was a follow-up to the previous story, which I saw months ago. Your mom is a true hero and I wanted to know more about her. This led me to find your site. Wow…. I love your photos and writing. I am a traveller, taking many photos as I go. I love food of all kinds and am lover of small visual details in life as well. I spent many years living with my grandparents on their farm outside of Vernon BC and your story and photos brought back many beautiful memories of the animals and of my grandfather teaching me about photography. He gave me my first camera, a pentax. I now use a Panasonic Lumix point and shoot but I am inspired to spend more time on capturing images so I look forward to seeing your answer to a previous question about the type of camera you use. I also look forward to exploring your site in depth. Thanks, Erin
